CCTV Calligraphy and Painting Channel's contracted artist, member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Research Association, and founder of the Xiaoyao School of Painting, Yuan Zhu's works enter Sichuan Guozhong Power Equipment Co., Ltd.

As we bid farewell to 2020 and welcome the arrival of 2021, a contracted painter with CCTV's Calligraphy and Painting Channel, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Research Association Mr. Yuan Zhu, a National First-Class Artist, the founder of the Xiaoyao School of Painting, and an editor at the China Yearbook Publishing House under Xinhua News Agency—publisher of the *China Yearbook* (2019 edition)—has launched the "Bringing Art to Enterprises" initiative.

On December 22, 2020, a contracted painter with CCTV's Calligraphy and Painting Channel. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Research Association National First-Class Artist and founder of the Xiaoyao School of Painting, Yuan Zhu, visited Sichuan Guozhong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. located in Tianyuan, Deyang City, to launch an initiative aimed at bringing art directly into enterprises. During the event, he created a four-foot-square masterpiece titled "Burning Flow" using bold ink techniques on-site, and subsequently presented this artwork as a gift to Sichuan Guozhong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. Mr. Wang Xianhong, Chairman of the company, accepted the donation on behalf of the enterprise. Also participating in the "Art into Enterprise" activity were philanthropist Mr. Zhang Yaran, Confucianism expert Mr. Wu Pinmo, Jiu Mao Pu Dejiang's general distributor in Deyang, Mr. Zhang Yajun, Sales Manager Ms. Sun Hongmei, and Tibetan singer Meimei, among others. The group toured the production facilities of Sichuan Guozhong Power Equipment Co., Ltd. and engaged in discussions with company representatives regarding corporate culture development. Additionally, they presented the company with a collection of paintings from Yuan Zhu's Xiaoyao School.

On the same day, Member of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Research Association National First-Class Artist and founder of the Xiaoyao School, Yuan Zhu, visited Deyang Taiji Pharmacy Co., Ltd., located at No. 198 Xijie Street, Deyang City, to carry out an event aimed at bringing art directly into enterprises. He was warmly received by Liu Mao, Chairman of Deyang Taiji Pharmacy Co., Ltd., and presented the company with a collection of paintings titled "Yuan Zhu's Works from the Xiaoyao School."

According to available information, Yuan Zhu, a native of Deyang City, Sichuan Province, is the founder of the Xiaoyao School of Painting. He is also a contracted painter with CCTV's Calligraphy and Painting Channel, a member of the China Calligraphers and Painters Research Association, a National First-Class Artist, and serves as a Lifetime Visiting Professor of Arts Education at the China Education Alliance. Additionally, he holds the position of Vice President at the Beijing Xuanhe Academy of Calligraphy and Painting. Notably, he was included as an editor in the "Chronicles of the People's Republic of China (2019)," published by the People's Republic of China Yearbook Society under the supervision of Xinhua News Agency. On October 29, 2019, the National Copyright Administration issued a certificate of copyright registration for his works. These copyrighted pieces were subsequently incorporated into an asset package that formed part of Creative Planet (stock code: 860099), which was listed on the Hong Kong International Intellectual Property Trading Center on October 30, 2019. Through years of dedicated practice, Yuan Zhu has developed unique landscape painting techniques known as "Leopard Spot" and "Ox-Hair Texture," achieving remarkable success. His works have been showcased in prestigious venues across the globe, including New York and Texas in the United States, St. Petersburg, Russia, and Beijing. To date, over a hundred of his paintings have been acquired by collectors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia, as well as regions such as Beijing, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Shanghai. His artworks have been featured in more than 60 art collections and publications, including "A Contemporary History of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting in the New China" published by World Knowledge Press, "Centennial Classics: Selected Works by Prominent Chinese Calligraphers and Painters of the Modern and Contemporary Eras" published by Heilongjiang Fine Arts Publishing House, and "Homage to the Classics: Representative Figures in the Inheritance of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting" published by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. Furthermore, his creations were selected for inclusion in two significant national projects celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China: "Belt and Road: Timeless National Porcelain" and "Timeless National Treasures: Porcelain Wine from China." As a result, his works were twice chosen as state gifts. Yuan Zhu has also earned recognition through awards such as the Bronze Prize in the International Calligraphy and Painting Competition commemorating the 120th anniversary of Zhang Daqian's birth, as well as the Bronze Prize in the International Calligraphy and Painting Competition organized by the Chuan Cheng Cup. In addition to these accolades, he has published several personal collections, including "A Collection of Masterpieces by 100 Chinese Calligraphers and Painters (Volume on Yuan Zhu)," "A Collection of Timeless Masterpieces by Famous Chinese Artists: The Works of Yuan Zhu," "A Collection of Contemporary Chinese Art Masters: The Landscape Paintings of Yuan Zhu from the Xiaoyao School," "A Personal Stamp Album of Contemporary Chinese Calligraphers and Painters: Yuan Zhu," and "A Special Stamp Album Featuring Timeless Masterpieces by Renowned Chinese Artists (Yuan Zhu)." Notably, in May 2016, Yuan Zhu held a solo exhibition titled "Inheritance and Classics—The Works of Yuan Zhu" at the China National Academy of Painting Art Center. In June 2019, he presented another solo exhibition showcasing his work in Dallas, Texas, USA.

The China Research Institute of Calligraphers and Painters (CRICP), established in April 1989, is under the supervision of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is a national, arts-oriented social organization composed of Chinese calligraphers and painters, as well as institutions and research units dedicated to the study of calligraphy and painting.
